a loveliness of ladybugs scarlet soldiers march along sickly asparagus stalks mandibles munching larva hatching aphid infestation waning a loveliness of ladybugs, so long in coming I waited, Neem Oil spray bottle at the ready I waited, for nature to bring balance nature feels besieged these days poisons and plows asphalt and apathy too much of one thing while the last of another fades away but today gasps of glee photos snapped shared the circle of life is working! a small thing, aphids becoming ladybug lunch a small thing, but a loveliness, non-the-less
